# SVGcinema > SVGcinema is a browser editor for animated SVG (https://www.svgcinema.com/editor/). AI assistants that can run scripts in the user's browser tab (Claude in Chrome and others) can edit the open project with its own editing tools, with no API key. ## How to work in SVGcinema 1. Work in the tab where the user has SVGcinema open. 2. Run `window.svgcinema.help()` with your page-script tool and read all of it. It returns a plain-text guide: how to work, the rules, and every tool with its arguments, following the user's current settings (for example how to handle images). 3. Then: `svgcinema.start({ task, assistant })`, `await svgcinema.call(tool, args)` (or `await svgcinema.batch([{ name, args }, ...])`), and `svgcinema.done(summary)`. Everything between start and done is one undo step for the user, and editing is paused for them meanwhile, so always call done(). What the tools cover: shapes and SVG artwork, layers and groups, animation presets, keyframes on any property (position, rotation, scale, opacity, colors, strokes, filters…) with named or custom (cubic-bezier) easing, shape morphing (Morph keyframes as SVG path data), images, and the project settings. If `window.svgcinema` is missing, the page isn't SVGcinema or is still loading. If a call answers that the user turned assistants off or pressed Stop, stop and tell them.
