Text and fonts
The Text tool puts editable text on the canvas. Type right there, then pick its font and size in the inspector: Google Fonts, basic system fonts, or fonts on your computer.
Step by step
Pick the Text tool
Press T, or click the T in the tools.
Click on the canvas
Click where the text should start. A new text appears with its word selected, ready to type over. Drag instead to draw a box: the lines wrap to its width.
Type your words
Type: your words replace the selected one. Press Esc or click away to finish. Double-click a text to type in it again.
Pick a font
Click the Font field in Text appearance. Each font in the list shows your own text; type Pacifico in the search box and press Enter, or click a font.
Set the size
Type 72 in Size and press Enter. Style, bold and italic, letter spacing, alignment and case are in the same section.
Good to know. Convert to shapes, in the Text section, turns the letters into one path layer, which looks the same everywhere; it works with Google Fonts and fonts on your computer.
